古民家の宿 おかべ
For many years we have continued to maintain the original atmosphere of our inn that has been passed down for generations. Our inn has a traditional Japanese style that is not seen very often these days; it is supported by thick beams, the framework is made of wood from the Japanese zelkova elm tree, and there is a traditional cooking pot hanging over the sunken hearth that has a smoke stained black luster which really brings the room together. In 2015, we also renovated our building, which was constructed in 1927, to maintain its beautiful appearance and comfort for our customers. Our dinner is made using local ingredients, but it is not limited to just being a traditional cooking style passed down through the generations. It is a style with no peer that brings out spectacularly diverse flavors.
Wi-Fi, Japanese western-style toilet, yukata, towels, and tooth paste are all included. *The toilet and washroom and in the same room.
