田村萬盛堂
In the Edo Period, people would commonly gamble in front of the Johana branch temple. Our store started with merchants walking around that area selling mochi wrapped with sweet bean jam. In recent years, we have been working on developing various sweets such as our Ki-no-haishi and Nanto Nmai Rice Cake Roll. Our Shansha Cookie is also often talked about because it looks like a silkworm cocoon, which is very locally significant since Johana used to produce silk.
