Takase Iseki Nationally Designated Important Cultural Properties

This is an archeological excavation of a 1000-year old historic landmark. Every year in the middle of June is the Takaseiseki Sweet Flag (flower) Festival. Thanks to a water canal maintained for the excavation, we have the earliest sweet flag blooming in Toyama Prefecture. We are also famous for our fireflies.
