We are an art museum in a quiet mountain town. The pieces we always have in our exhibition room are the magnificent paintings of flowers and birds done by the Fukumitsu native, painter, and mountain climber Kouyo Ishizaki and many of the works of the internationally acclaimed Shikou Munakata from the 6 years and 8 months he lived in Fukumitsu for the evacuation period during and after World War 2.
